The famous Soviet director Sergei Eisenstein called architecture
as the "ancestor of the film."
Since the invention of cinema has moved the picture that
presented itself a cinema audience looking for new ways of
experiencing in terms of spaces and places.
By approaching the architectural space, through different angles
and framing of close-ups of details, as well as the panoramic
views of the movie camera, it is possible to represent already
known buildings in completely new dimensions.
Moreover, the medium of film work as a form of "armchair travel"
so that our eyes and our vision is drawn to things, to visit
certain areas that would otherwise be inaccessible.
Not only in the spatial sense that is meant but also seasonal.
The moving picture can show us vivid experience of architecture
that does not exist anymore, and imaginary visions of future
urban landscapes.
